A mass rally took place in the city of Marib on Friday afternoon, where participants condemned Iran’s attacks on Saudi Arabia and other Gulf states, expressing solidarity with the targeted countries.
The demonstration followed calls issued by Friday prayer preachers, who urged broad public participation in the rally.
Organizers of the event in Marib also called on residents to gather and take part in the march, which moved through the city’s main streets.
Participants denounced the Iranian attacks, describing them as a blatant aggression targeting Gulf and Arab nations, and voiced support for the peoples of the affected countries.
Demonstrators raised images of Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, along with banners expressing solidarity with Gulf states.
The rally is considered the first of its kind in Yemen in several years.
